Haha Chavs are Stupid

Last night I was walking back from the city centre in the dark (now that it gets dark early, it’s pretty much inevitable). Despite the mad rush of Christmas shoppers and people visiting the Christmas Market, it was quite a pleasant walk back in the end.
Then, at some traffic lights, some chavs were in a car. The window rolled down and a scrawny little man shouted “Long-haired Gay”. Why, thank you for that unnecessary blanket insult. Anyway, just as he shouted it, someone in the car turned the music up and revved the engine, just to have the car stall. Hilarious. I guess there IS a God.
It’s funny because the insult wasn’t even insulting (but even funnier how they failed, of course). I can think of so many things that would be insulting, and to be honest, “Long-haired Gay” would be quite far down on the list, if not at the bottom. You see, the thing is, it doesn’t take much to realize I have long hair. It’s one of the first things you notice about me. So there’s one point taken off for a lack of imagination. Secondly, you can call anyone “gay” in an insulting way. It’s a blanket insult that people often react to because they don’t want to be seen as someone who has feelings for men. Second point removed. That’s two out of two. I’ll give them a notable mention for their epic performance, though.
