I Like To Think I’m Ahead Of The Curve
December 3, 2009

It’s currently the “in thing” to drop vowels from product names. Look at “Tumblr”, “Flickr” and millions more. They’re all dropping vowels so much it’s now a trend. While they have the excuse that their desired domain was taken, more and more people are doing it intentionally to be hip and trendy. Well, I like to think I’m ahead.
While I don’t have a vowel missing, I do have a silent letter (the “c”) and at the end of the day when all the de-voweled (or should that be “D-vowld”?) domains have gone, silent letters are going to be the next to go. I’ve struck gold here! Just think how many people will want to buy this site’s domain when that day happens?
Don’t worry, avid readers, I’d never let the site be taken from me (yay?) but I like to think I’ve almost started something.
